This project is a colorful way to celebrate a student's name.
An adult will first write a name in script or block letters. The young artist then traces around and around the name using a different color each time in a rainbow fashion. We are using Cray-pas Oil Crayons here for brilliance, but normal crayons would be fine. I did fold the paper in half the long way and wrote their name in the upper half.

I often work right along side the students to keep them motivated and on track.

These are cute! I bet my girls would love to do this especially if I write their name in "curly" (what they call cursive). :)
