Children's Crayon Art - Positive / Negative Shape Design

This is a spin on the popular cut paper only positive/negative design but adding the use of crayon.
On a half sheet of paper have the student color rainbow stripes.

Lay it on a full sheet of black.

Fold it and cut a triangle on the fold.

Open the folded piece to see the black negative of the positive cut out piece

Fold again to repeat.  Glue down.

                            Fancy shapes can also be cut out.
